Windows Update and MBSA

I ran the MBSA this morning on my Windows XP Pro system and it reported
amongst other issues that it could not verify that 4 areas were at the
latest level. The 4 Microsoft bulletins referenced were MS02-008, MS03-008,
MS03-030 and MS03-051. I have been keeping my system up to date via the
Windows Update site. Subsequently I ran Windows Update over the Internet,
the Web site reported that everything including non-critical updates and
drivers are up to date. Can someone help me understand this.

The two currently use different detection criteria.
MBSA uses some more extended checks and sometimes
it is not possible to verify with certainty that a patch is
still fully in force. In these cases it will provide an
informational warning such as you are seeing.

I too have recently experienced the same results from running MBSA. I am
wondering why the updates couldn't be confirmed, especially when I have
updated to SP1.

There is more to my question/observation: who wants to discuss with me?
