Windows "Temp" folder content deletion

Can anything contained in the Windows "Temp" folder (files or folders) be
manually deleted periodically in the sake of routine maintenance?

Absolutely. If you *just* installed an item, you may want
to reboot prior to dumping everything in there, but only
if you just installed something. Otherwise, empty it often,
nothing useful is ever stored in there.
