windows task manager

I can't open task manager. If I left click in the task
bar and then click task manager, it flashes on my screen
for 1 second but won't open. I also tried shift,control,
escape simultaneously which should bring up the task
manger when I am frozen and the same thing happens. Can
anyone help me to figure this out? Thanks

w32.spybot worm disables NAV, Msconfig, Regedit and Task Manager:

Try this to:

Rename regedit.exe to regedit.com then:

Download then Merge the edit on line 251 then delete all the files mentioned
in the above link.
