Windows task manager

in Win XP somehow my Task manager got turned of and when I click on CTRL Alt
Del all I get is a window that says Administrator turned off task manager-
any clue as to how I reaccess my task manager-thanks

Click Start, Run and type this command exactly as given below: (better - Copy and paste)

REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

(Watch for line wrap)

The Task manager "restriction" may be a result of malware activity. Eliminate spyware from the system. Visit http://aumha.org/a/quickfix.php and follow the advice given.
