Windows Task Manager problem

When I do CTL-ALT-DEL to bring up the Task Manager, I only get the PROCESSES
windows and there are no tabs for the Applications, Performance, etc. that
are described the the Help documentation.

What gives?

Did I accidently click some configuration box somewhere to make everything
disappear?

How can I get the full display with the tabs?

The other odd thing is that there is no X in the upper right hand corner to
close the "Task Manager".

I have to hit ESC to make it go away!

Double-click near the top of Task Manager

Hi,

Task Manager is running in Tiny Footprint mode.
Double click on the outside border of the window to regain the tabs.

Thanks, it's magic!!

Man, the related topics in Help had no mention of this. Why in the heck
didn't Microsoft put a little icon or something on the toolbar to give us a
clue to click it. I could have gone on for years suffering with my broken
Task Manager but I looked over at my wife's computer and saw that she had a
normal Task Manager. I got jealous and came out here to get the scoop - and
I'm glad I did.

Does Microsoft do this kind of stuff stuff to us just for fun?

Thanks gain!

I know this is off-topic, but the Volume Control window has a hidden feature:
type ctrl+s so then the volume control will take up less space on the screen
^^;; sorry, just had to tell y'all ^^::
