In the subject line is what I see when I boot up this machine. (Dell Windows
XP Home) It then goes to tell me that I can attempt to repair this file by
starting Windows Setup using the original Setup CD ROM. It then tells me to
select 'r' at the first screen to start repair.
I gotta be honest .. all this does is give me a long list of DOS-type
commands with no assistance.
Which option should I choose to repair this error? And after I select that
option, what do I do?
Do you have any other suggestions rather than the 'r' command as listed above?
I cannot access this drive even as a secondary drive in my other desktop.
(It is a 160G Seagate SATA and I get Delayed Write Errors when I try to
access it on other machines).
PLEASE assist ... I honestly appreciate ytour time & efforts.
