windows\system32\config\system..windows won't start

when I turn on my computer, just before windows should start up, this message
appears: "Windows is unable to load because the following file is missing or
corrupt: windows\system32\config\system"

It also says that I can repair it using the original set up cds, but since
windows came preinstalled, I don't have any of those cds. Safe Mode won't
even start. The microsoft site says that I can contact the manufacturers for
help with oem software but its a Cicero, and I can't find any info on the
company. What would be the best thing to do? I would appreciate any
comments.

Ok thank you but my problem is that it is an oem installed system. the page
you referred to me says:

"Do not use the procedure that is described in this article if your computer
has an OEM-installed operating system"
