Hey there,

I am having problems installing an HP 1320 Printer ona Windows XP Pro
Machine. I am getting the following message "The configuration registry key
is invalid" please help.

I have tried installing this printer on other machines to eliminate, Printer
hardware and drivers problems which I found none.

Run disk Cleanup and Defrag in safe mode, then open a run command and type in:
sfc /scannow click [OK] you will need your XP CD handy for this operation.

Download the software from HP.com website and save the Download on your
desktop, then try the installation.
