I purchased an E machine with windows xp home addition. Recently I made
changes that does not allow me to add any programs. It does not recognize
loading hardware with USB port. In fact the Hardware icon in the control
panel won't even open. I tried to install an HP printer and says it can't
because "printer spooling service"is not running. I don't have recovery
capability because the calendar for making restore points was off; I don't
have a windows xp disc to load.. was loaded when purchased. Any ideas? Should
I buy windows xp software and re-install? ( Something with system
configuration or driver problem I suppose) HELP!! Ken
