Windows Startup

Good morning

I just installed a new printer on my system and for some reason when I start
windows it goes to the startup/select user screen. Prior to this
installation, I would go directly to my desktop.

I would like to get rid of this startup/select user screen as I am the only
user on my system and the only person in my office.

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Open Start>Run and type "CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2" (without quotes) and uncheck
the option User must enter a user name and... .Click ok.

If you want to Autologon onto Windows:

Download TweakUI from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx and
when installed go to Programs>Powertoys for Windows XP>Tweak UI - then go to
Logon>Autologon
