My computer runs real slow, and I think it is all the junk that has installed
over time and is running in the background. I have uninstalled most of it.
How can I see a list of what is starting when booting up and removing what I
don't want?

Right after you boot, open the Task Manager. Check the Processes tab.

To start Task Manager:

Ctrl + Alt + Delete
or
Ctrl + Shift + Esc
or
Right click the Taskbar | Task Manager
or
Start | Run | Type: taskmgr | OK
-----

Open the System Configuration Utility (msconfig.exe).

Start | Run | Type: msconfig | OK |
Startup tab

Hope this helps. Let us know.
