Recently I had trouble display with IExplorer and Outlook, believing was the
AGP Video Driver, I change it the standard driver, reboot my computer and
after the first windows display, I got nothing, try to recover, to go back to
last good configurations, but nothing works.

Any word, How can I start up and reinstalled video driver.

Thanks

I tried both, repair command did get me to safemode, from which does nothing
but reboot my computer (over and over) - Im got a loop.

I'm not sure how to help but here are some worst case scenarios:

Worst case: If you can get to an DOS prompt, just take off the files/folders
that you need then format HD and reinstall windows.

Alternate worst case: Take it to CompUSA. For 100$, they will make it work
again. They'll backup for files for an extra fee.

Hi

If you follow the directions on the web page I posted, you should be able to
re-install (Repair) XP - depending on which type of XP CD you have?

Will - Thanks again...

I did followed up the page, it took sometime to finish the recovery, but
nothing...

So far, I get to choose from the safe mode, command, last config... but any
choice take me to nowhere.

My issue is the display driver, but I cant even get the standard vga driver
to display the welcome screen. (uuhhhh!)

Also, which are the keys to press to choose between users, after the welcome
screen (administrator, user1, user2) - I cant remember those.

I'm looking foward to keep the content intact, many "in-house" software are
installed and I dont have the software.

Thanks again

I'm having the same problem but I dont have the XP installation disk. Did
you ever get a solution? I have a few files I dont want to lose so I thought
I would inquire...
Thanks,
Greer
