Is it possible to revert from Service Pack 2 to service pack 1? If so, how
can I do it. Thanks

Only if:

1) Service pack was installed from a download or WindowsUpdate and you save
the System Restore info/Add Remove option. Note: You may have a lot of
"other" software to fix after the removal

If Service Pack 2 was "integrated" into the install CD (or slipstream) the
NO!

Maybe.

If your version of XP came with SP 2 you can't remove it.

If you installed SP 2 and told it during install not to save the files needed
to remove SP 2, you can't remove it.

If you installed SP 2 and told it to save the files needed to uninstall it
you can remove it.

Look in Add/Remove Programs, make sure the "Show Updates" box is checked and
if SP2 is there, you can remove it.
