Windows Server 2000 -> 2003 Upgrade

Hello,

I have two Windows Server 2000 SP3 boxes, and I need to upgrade them to
Windows Server 2003. They are only member servers, I don't have to
worry about the DC. I have scoured the web in an attempt to find out
if it is recommended to upgrade or do a clean install from 2000 ->
2003. This is for about 400 users. I would appreciate any thoughts or
past experiences that any of you have to share regarding this topic.

Thanks for reading,

Thanks for the links.

I have already read through this Windows upgrade document. I was
thinking to go with an upgrade; however, I've been told that doing so
can leave old files in systemroot. That is why I was wondering if
doing a clean installation was more feasible. Microsoft recommends
alot...I wanted to get real world experience and opinions regarding
this.

Thanks for reading and responding.

To be honest... upgrade only when everything else is not possible!

If you have the possibility introduce new fresh installed machines
