I got a new computer and set the Windows Mail up. I was having no problems
and then all of a sudden when I try to receive mail I get a Windows Security
window that pops up and asks for my user name and password. I type them in
and it acts like it is doing something and then another window pops up and I
input the same information and so on and so on. Therefore, if I want to get
my mail I have to go to my internet provider and retrieve the mail that way.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

I actually just discovered the solution to my own problem. I tried entering
the user name without the ISP behind it. For some reason, that worked.
Maybe the system already knew that I had cox. When I just put in my user
name and not the cox.net behind it, my mail came in. I exited out of mail
and went back in and now don't get the pop up window.
