Why do I get these popups from windows security in windows mail asking to
verify my username and password once in awhile? Can I turn this security
feature off?

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium.

Thanks for any help.

Got some news for you, You are infected with malware. You cannot turn that notice
off and the only way to get rid of it is to get rid of that malware you picked up

Use the following free programs to get rid of it

Download, install, run, update and perform a full scan (separately) with the
following two applications (freeware versions are the ones to use for this):

SuperAntiSpyware
http://www.superantispyware.com/

MalwareBytes
http://www.malwarebytes.com/

After performing a full scan with one and then the other and removing
whatever they both find completely, you may uninstall these products,
if you wish.

Download and run the MSRT manually:

Reboot.

Thanks for the direction Peter, hopefully those programs resolved my issue,
they did find some things, If it happens to show up in the next couple weeks
I'll just wipe the drive, that could have been faster in the first place,
LOL.

I appreciate your help.
