I just had the same problem, but when I went back to Norton and clicke
on "Liveupdate" it downloaded the Norton Intrusion detection signature
and the problem went away.

Now I am trying to download the WMI update and I am having problems, i
anyone knows what the problem is, please let me know. I have alread
gave permissions to everything in my registry.
