windows restarts at night, no virus, need help.

Every night i leave my computer on, downloading, and every morning the
computer will have reset. i targeted it at about 6am. there are no viruses,
or spyware running. eventlog shows 6005 and 6009 which acording to windows
is an expected shutdown or a shutdown through ctrl+alt+del. this is not
true, there is no one at the computer. i even reinstalled the os and
eventually end up with the same thing every time. there is no bios timer
set. does any one know if there is a loger program that i can run to
determine errors/falures that windows is not reporting?
please help, this is getting discouraging.

Is your computer overheating?

I would look at the heat issue too. My computer used to reboot do too
overheating.

Go to Control Panel, Scheduled Tasks, delete them all, or see if any
correlate to when you believe the pc reboots.
