Windows not loading

Computer is an e-machines T3025 running Windows XP. It was working last
night at shutdown. This morning Windows would not load at startup. All I
get is the "e" logo on the screen. I also cannot access set-up by pushing
any of the "F" keys. Pushing Control, Alt, Delete keys sometimes gets me
"Entering Setup...." on the bottom left of screen but nothing else happens.
The green Hard Disk drive access indicator light does not come on at any time.

This computer is need for work. Please advise ASAP.

Thanks.

You've got hardware issues. Take a vacation and give the thing to a
competent technician.

OH... and the two threads you started are one too many. Don't start
another one.

Hello mjh:

Sometimes the "Del" key is used instead of "F2" (or others) for BIOS access.

If your hard disk drive (HDD) can not be seen in BIOS, then your system
won't bootup.

If this is the case, your system requires a computer tech's care.

Please post a follow-up with your progress.

Pete
