Are you sure you want to do this? If so, then do the following:
1) Make sure you have your Product Key handy, as the following steps will
remove the existing installation. Without it, you will not be able to
complete the new installation.
2) Boot the system with the WinXP CD, start the installer.
3) Hit F8 to agree to the license
4) At the point where you choose the installation location, delete the
existing system partition
5) Create a new system partition from the newly created free space.
6) Choose a quick NTFS format. When done, setup should proceed unimpeded,
and you will havea brand spanking new installation unfettered with all the
garbage from the old one.
7) Immediately update the system fully.
*Note* If the system is connected to the internet during setup, and there is
no firewall, there is a chance that it may become infected before you ever
even finish. Disconnect it before doing the above steps, particularly if you
are on an "always on" broadband connection.
