Windows registry recovery

one of the files containing the system's registry data had to be recovered by
use of a log or alternate copy. The recovery was successful.

appears each time I log in to my XP machine connected to an NT domain.

I did find the fix on microsoft and have since lost the article and having
spent 1/2 day searching I am desperate.

Or if any one knows the KB number of the patch that has caused this please
let me know
