hi,,ive just had to formatt my hard drive and now it wont
let me re-register/activate my windows xp....it says i hav
2 do so in 30 days 2 continue using windows can anyone
advise on wot i can do please....thanks

Call the 800 telephone number it gives you to activate by phone,
and explain what you've done. They will give you a number to
enter at your keyboard. It's quick and easy.

Formatting removes all record of activating that was stored on the
machine, so you have to do it again, just like the first time. Get on
the net, then run
Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Activate Windows
and use the Activate on the net now - it will take 20 or 30 seconds
