Occasionally, my computer will reboot for no reason at all. The error in the
event log indicates there is a 'faulty module in Internet Explorer.
mshtml.dll'. What is this, and how do I repair the problem.
All Windows Service packs and updates installaed. Virus defs are current,
and scan comes up negative. Search and Destroy, Spyware Blaster, and Ad-Aware
defs all current.
Running WinXP Pro

Any help is appreciated.

What is the actual *verbatim* content of the event log item? Please
include all codes and parameters.

Also use Control Panel - System - Advanced and click on the Settings
button in the Startup and Recovery (bottom) section. In the Startup
and Recovery window click on the checkbox for "automatically restart"
to clear it; then click on Apply and OK as needed to exit.

Good luck

Did you click on the link to Microsoft support? If so did that
produce any suggestions?

See http://www.duxcw.com/dcforum/DCForumID7/812.html for a discussion
on how a very similar error was resolved.
