Windows Profiles Keep corrupting

B

Bob

Hi Everyone,

Recently, we have noticed that users have lost all of their windows
settings. When we look into the system, we see that the system has
created a new profile for them and they have lost all of thier
settings. Then we have to recreate the settings manually ever time
for each program.

Does anyone know What causes these things to happen and how to prevent
it? And If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix a corrupt profile
or how to Automate the process of changing the settings I would be
grateful

Unexpected or some ungraceful means of shutdown would be the most suspect
cause.

Dave thanks for the response. I would have thought that if it was
just one person, however this keeps happening consistantly, and not
always to the same person. Has this happened to other people?
