Windows problem

Running XP Pro SP2

Every so often I get two similar errors, on start up and shut down.

SVC Host encounters problems has to shut down

And Generic host also has problems and shuts down.

Everything seems to work okay. Wondering if there is some way to find
out what program might be causing the problem.

I have Eudora running at start up and that has its own problems.
 
Have seen this on restarts on occasion sine last windows update
myself. on one of my machines
 
Sure does sound like one of last years viruses. And
Eudora running right at startup sounds professorial. :-)
So maybe you should finally run AV ?
