Windows picture and fax viewer

My windows and Fax viewer stoped working. I can not use slide show
either. I have to use Internet Explorer to view pictures. I recently
downloaded Image Reducer, I dont know if that's part of the problem.
Any ideas would be helpfull, Thank you

Click on Start and click on Run. In the opening textbox type the following
command (or copy this command from here and then paste it in the textbox)
and press the Enter key:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL

If you type it in, note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI...

This will take a second to run and you should get a success message. If this
does not work get back to us, you may have to do something more but usually
running this command will restore everything.
