Windows open "maximize"

Help! When I click on a subject to open a new window it opens a small
window. I want it to open "maximized". How do I do this. I have looked
and looked and quite frankly getting frustrated. Any help would be
appreciated.
 
Try stretching the small window to full size. (Do not use Maximize)
Ensure that window is the last one closed and IE should remember the
size next time.
