Windows OneCare

I had Windows OneCare installed on my desktop and started having
problems so I decided to uninstall it, clean and defrag my hard drive
then reinstall Windows OneCare. Now Windows OneCare won't reinstall, it
will go through all the motions of installing and then in the middle of
installing it would stop and begin uninstalling. I've contacted Window
OneCare technical support and they would start helping me and then I
wouldn't hear from them again. I've been having this problem since
December 2006 and still have not been able to resolve this problem. If
anyone knows anything about Windows OneCare and could help me with this
problem I would truly appreciate it. Thanks

= Then try to Disable the Add-Ons on your Browser somehow installed on your
browser, On how to disable the Add-ons follow this:
Click on Programs Tab and then click the Manage Add-Ons Button there Disable
the None/Not Verified Plug-ins/Add-ons ( you need to Renable them one-by-one

Click on Advanced Tab and scroll down under the browsing option and uncheck
this box:

Nass,
Thank you for the suggestions. I did everything you said -- did
pretty good job of cleaning up my hard drive -- still wasn't able t
install WOC. That's ok though, I tired of messing with it -- gues
Infinity has reached her limit. Anyway, I was able to install anothe
firewall/virus protection software that is just as good, I guess.
really don't know what the problem is and maybe one day I'll tr
reformatting the hard drive, but not today.

Anyway thank you and I look forward to more of your assistance in th
future.

You might also need to manually search and destroy any
registry info linked to onecare. Sometimes leftover registry
data can stop a reinstall.
