I have been trying to uninstall Windows onecare beta2 because my computer has
a lot of spyware and viruses, but after i've uninstalled onecare and try to
upload the new antivirus it says that onecare is still there. How do I get
rid of onecare completely?

Your OneCare hasn't probably removed correctly . Microsoft has created
special forums for One Care , the address is
http://forum.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/

However , I have found a sticky post there how to uninstall One Care .
Follow it to run the removal tool
http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=663803&SiteID=2

After you have successfully removed all OneCare's tracks , don't install new
antivirus immediately because it is wrong step when already infected by
virus/spyware and all kind of malware . First perform the malware removal
steps here http://pandaman.my.contact.bg to clean the machine , learn how to
protect your computer and at the end install and update the desired antivirus
product .

Report back your results! :)

hey panda man, i am running panda antivirus free download until i can upgrade
my ram and then install one live care as my security software. as you might
be able to tell , i am not real exp. at security issues . i was worried that
olc would take alot of ram up but now i am worried maybe it is not the real
deal for my security issues. should i stay with panda and spend the money on
their antivirus software? boy , now i am confused. any advice would help.

My advice is NOT use OneCare.

There are many better applications providing a far better level of protection than Onecare
can provide.

As an anti virus product, it falls well below other anti virus vendors and standards.
