Windows not remembering window size

I size my windows how I wamt them... when I open them
again later they open up fully maximized. Sometimes they
open as I left them... but eventually end up opening
maximized. PLEASE HELP!! Thanks a Million!

After you size the window the way you want, click File, then Close. Works
in IE, OE and Windows Explorer. You may want to right click on the shortcut
and pick properties and see what choice is in the Run window, if it's
Maximized then change it to Normal Window and the above procedure will work.

Two things:

First get things set up with a suitable default. Set up a window (say
on C:) as you would like it. In its Tools - Folder Options - View,
check 'remember each Folder's view settings' and click the 'Apply to
all' button at the top.

You should now be able to set individual Explorer/My Computer windows so
they get remembered - for a time.

But the number of sets that can be remembered is limited, and may not
be enough for you. See
