Windows Networking

I have a server setup in a small business and I am using it as network
storage. The client machines network to it directly for file storage such
as .doc and .wpd etc... When a client tries to move, delete, copy a file it
seems to work. But, When they log off the computers do a syncronization and
the computers restore back to their original file setup meaning any moves,
copies, or deletes are lost. Creating new files is not a problem.

Why are they doing a synchronization? I presume you mean offline
files....why do you need this on a LAN?
