windows needs asms file

hi i have this problem.... ive recently repaired my XP home
installation. When i restared the computer windows starts up and goes
into windows setup.then this window pops up and says it needs a file
called "asms" . it tells me to type out the location... somebody
helppppp???!!!...??!!

Yes, but what if you do not have a Win 98 or Millineum disk?
I am upgrading from XP Home to XP Pro?

Is there any way to stop the setup process and default back to the original
op system?
