Windows Movie Maker...

When I playback a video I'm making, the music I place in for the backround
won't play. However, when I move the time seeker and I advance in the
timeline, the music starts playing. After saving the movie, the music doesn't
work. Also, when I preview the movie in windows movie maker, the video is
very choppy and so is the audio and it's to the point that I can't see what's
going on in the video. Can anyone help me out?

DV-AVI files are the best video files to use, what are yours?
The background music is also best in WAV not MP3.
What are the computer specs? If the pc cannot cope with real time playback
then MM will show as much of a preview as it can, which can make it look
choppy.
