Windows Mobile Device Center

I'm using Vista Ultimate 64-bit. I've had no problems using my Windows Mobile
5.0 based device before installing Vista SP1. But since installing SP1 and
when I connect my device, Vista asks me for my device password and when I
enter the password, Auto Play starts up instead of Windows Mobile Device
Center. When I start up Windows Mobile Device Center from the Control Panel,
I get the Connection Settings dialog box and it just says "Device Connected"
and there are two check boxes: Allow USB Connections and Allow Connections to
Bluetooth.

Why won't Windows Mobile Device Center start up so that I can sync my device
with my PC?

Thanks.

A lot of my questions on these Mirosoft Vista forums go unanswered.

I had asked this question about Windows Mobile Device Center more than a
week ago.

Where are these MVPs when you need them?

And please answer my original question rather than the one asking why you
don't help.

If they don't have an answer, what do you want them to say? Should
they check in and say that just to keep you happy?

You're not making friends very fast. Telling those who might be able
to help you HOW to help you is counterproductive.

The reason why I haven't made any friends at these forums is that most people
on these forums want to see Vista go down. It's my conclusion that these
Microsoft Vista forums are infested with people that have been badly burned -
"read exposed" - by security enhancements in Vista like UAC, Windows
Defender, etc.

And they can't stand the thought of someone like me using Vista the way it's
intended to be used.

Try countering that.
