Windows Vista - Windows Mobile 5.0 Sync

I am using Windows Vista Ultimate and Trying to Sync my PPC 6700 (Windows
Mobile 5.0), but no luck so far.

When I connect using USB cable, it goes through (for the first time)
installing drivers and says its ready to use. But I dont get Windows Mobile
Device Center application to pop up.

If I go to control panel and click on 'Windows Mobile Device Center' link,
all I get is a connection settings dialog box and it says waiting for device
to connect. Why is Vista (device center) not recognizing my device.?

Thanks for your feedback. I did. Now I see this green application. There is
no place for me to sync outlook contacts, tasks etc.

Also, it comes up with following error to:
windows mobile device center sync host has stopped working

Where would I look for more information. Syncs are failing in Sync Center.

The download link is no longer working.

Has anyone gotten a PPC6700 to work with Vista?

Alfredo
}} Yes I was able to fix the communication problem that I had with my PPC
6700, I wasn't able to sync with the device after I upgraded to Windows Vista
ultimate. The route cause was with the firewall application which was
blocking or preventing the connection between the phone / PDA and Windows
Mobile. Check your firewall program and enable the connection, and that
should fix your issue.
