Every time I try to open Adobe Acrobat 6 or if I double click on a PDF file,
I get windows installer pop up trying to install Windows Messenger 5 even
when I already have Messenger 6 installed. Anybody got any ideas how to cure
this problem?
 
I had the same problem, I cant remember what I did to solve it, but I did
uninstall MSN and I gave up with Acrobat reader 6. I installed Acrobat
reader 5 again. About that time I did have a few problems with viruses, and
spyware, maybe that was the problem. But all is OK now.
