Windows Messenger

This is really annoying me !! How do I uninstall it, or
disble it so that it cannot be used ?

Hello Chas,

Go to Add/Remove Programs and choose Add/Remove Windows Components.
Scroll to the bottom of the list and uncheck Windows Messenger.
