windows messenger---uninstall

messenger has begun appearing automatically at start-up and it won't go away
even if i un-check the box on the start menu for changing windows components.

checking exit on the taskbar makes me shut down outlook. as soon as i
re-open and want to write an email, there it is again.

make it go away! i don't want it!

thanks! the download disable link worked! the microsoft support one was what
i'd been trying and it didn't work. what a relief!
