Windows Messenger/Net Meeting

I have Windows XP and my friend has Window 98 and has Net
meeting . When I get a request to use Net Meeeting I
accept and we establish a connection. Unfortunately he
can not hear or see me and the same for me. Under
Tools/video, the receive command is grayed out. How do I
activate this item?

I have run wizards on my mic and speakers and shows them
working OK

Hope someone can help.

Thanks

Duncan

Is the netmeeting call a "secure" call ?-- that would guarantee no
audio/video. Have your friend check their NetMeeting tools->
options ->security settings.

http://www.meetingbywire.com/NetMeeting102.htm has information on what to
look for to determine if a secure call is being made.
