Windows Messenger Live help

Could someone help me with this problem?.. I can't log into Windows
Messenger Live or my hotmail account. An error code says: service
temporarily unavailable, try again later. The internet is working
fine. www.hotmail.com says "page unavailable"... I have tried to
remove and re-install Messenger, but to no avail. Can anyone help I
poor computer-illiterate person like me? Thanks,

Janette,
It just goes down sometimes. If you've had it for any length of time and
you haven't seen this before you're lucky. As web/hosted services go, it's
pretty reliable but I've seen it down many times. There's not much you can
do other than wait for it to come back up. Usually it's not down for very
long.

it's been down around 3 days now, should i still wait or get someone
in to look at it?
