miss chatting on messenger..help plz!!!

I've installed, uninstalled, cleared all windows chat engines and started
fresh, to no avail...I can't get into my new windows live messenger. It tells
me that "signing into windows live messenger failed because the service is
temporarily unavailable. please try again later. Error code: 80070002
I wanna chat!!! any ideas? thanx in advance.

Hello,

sometimes you will just have to wait. Try another account as long as you
have login errors. What does the Messenger Status tell you (Help -> Service
status)?

* what does the connection troubleshooter tell you? Tools -> Options ->
Connection -> Connection Troubleshooter
* when nothing helps, try using WebMessenger http://webmessenger.msn.com in
the meanwhile.

tells me my proxy isn't set right

Hello,

so do you have a proxy that has to be used? If not, go to Internet Explorer,
click Tools -> Internet Options -> tab "Connections" -> Lan Settings ->
untick use proxy.
