windows messenger keeps signing out

After installing a wireless connection windows
messenger automatically signs itself off after about 30
secs. All of the other wireless connections work fine;
i.e., internet, etc.
I have removed and reinstalled windows messenger but it
still signs off about every 30 secs.
Any help would be appreciated.
