Windows Messenger contact deletion (COMPLETE)

I have Windows XP Home Edition and Windows Messenger
comes with it, duh. If a contact does something like
passes away, how can I remove that contact from my
contact, blocked and other lists under Tools, Options,
Privacy if Delete does NOT appear to be in BOLD? It's
frickin annoying to be reminded of someone with whom you
chatted with is no longer with us!!!

When you find out can you let me know, my little brother (20) went and now
his bloody msmessenger is haunting me in dam blocked list,.
Its not held on my pc as its been reformated.

Thats nice, so for now until eternity im reminded of my little brother.
How about sugesting to MS that 6 months of no use should cleanup dead users,
pardon the pun.
