Windows message no drive present

When I start my computer I get a dialog box with a title "Windows error
message" And the text "No disk present in drive please insert disk". It also
pops up fairly often at seaming random. It doesn't say where the message
came from or which drive it means. I had CDs in all my CD drives.
Any way to find out where it is coming from or how to get rid of it?

Hi Chas

You could try looking in Event Viewer to see if there are any error
messages that might shed some light on the mystery message.

Click on Start > Run, type eventvwr <enter>. Look in the System and
Application sections. find the time of your last start-up and see if
there is a red circle with an X through it and the word Error next to
it. If so, double click the entry to read the full message.

If there aren't any red blobs, there might still be an informational
message; work your way up from the last start-up time and see if you can
spot anything.
