windows memory problem

Having trouble with extreme slow performance... go to task manager and the windows explorer process is eating 100% of memory..... this only happens after I use explorer to find files or move them.... any ideas??

How many files are you finding or moving in one step, and what is the
total size of those files? That could explain the behavior you are
seeing, especially if your search results list thousands of files
and/or you are moving many hundreds of megabytes of files.
