windows media player

when i download music from a cd then play it back through
media player there is a high pitch noise.it is not loud
but you can notice it and it is annoying. i even bought a
new cd drive.any body heard of this? i tried getting
support from microsoft but i cant get through to them.
any help will be great.....

Make sure your microphone is set to Mute when burning, it often cause
feed-back, high pitch sounds. Open volume control, sound icon on the
bottom righthand corner of monitor, and tick "Mute" under mike.
