I am using Windows Media player 10. When i go to certian websites that have
built in media, the sound plays but not the video. The website this did this
on was www.stupidvideos.com. I have reinstalled windows media player 10 and
looked for avaible updates, but have found none. A few hours ago, i
downloaded Mozilla Firefox and that same video works with firefox buy not
Internet Explorer. I would like to know what the problem is so any ideas
would be appreciated.

check your multimedia settings in Control panel>Internet Options>Advance
tab. Put a check mark next to ' play videos in web pages'

I tried this, and the setting has been set to play all videos. It only seems to be happening on windows media player on internet explorerr. using quicktime on ie works and using wmp on firefox works. i would like to use ie though and be able to play videos.

Is Internet Explorer and/or your firewall privacy settings blocking mobile
code/activeX?
