Windows Media Player/wmv

I've downloaded, via Windows Media Player v8, a small, 38bit movie that
lasts 42 minutes. It reports to be a little over 11MB. Using Win Media
Player, I've tried copying
it to a CD. It goes thru a "converting" stage and then gives me the message
that it won't fit  Obviously I'm
not doing something right. Is there anyway to save this to my hard drive
and/or copy to a CD? When I choose Save As and save it to the Desktop, it's
not there. Surely there is a way to do this? Does the "converting" process
in WMP increase the file size?

Thanks,
Monica

Michael, I don't know what I meant...bits, bytes. 38 something  Anyway,
I finally discovered a way to get it. I went into my Temp Internet files
and located the stolen_honor.wmv and copied it to my desktop and then burned
it using Click n Burn Pro. Thanks for replying :)
