Windows media player error

I cannot open an attachment in Outlook Express.
Error message is C00D00CD in media player which
says "Windows Media Player has encountered an unknown
error.
Operating system is XP
Windows Media Player Version is 9.00.00.3075

Hi,

Have you tried first saving the file to hard drive, then playing it? What
file extension is it? Do you know where the file is coming from?
