Windows Media Player doesn't start

Hello!

I have problem to open files that are associated with Windows Media Player.
When I dblclick on a MP3-file for an example so happens nothing. But if I
right-click and choose to open with Windows Media Player the file is opened.
In the Open With dialogue its recommend WMP to open the actual file and to
be sure I check the 'Always use this program' check button. But the problem
remains.

I run Windows Update regular and have no updates pending. So everything is
up to date.

Have anyone any tip?

Regards

Sounds like the shell integration/Play All functionality is broken.
Does
http://www.zachd.com/pss/pss.html#playall
help?

See http://www.zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.

I'm currently listening to "The Dumbing Down of Love" by "Frou Frou" in
Windows Media Player.
